LABI will partially cover the costs for attending a specialized course in any Bioimaging topic.
As a way of promoting cooperation and fostering a regional community building, priority will be given to international courses to be held within Latin America. Local-national courses may also be considered. Courses to be held outside the region can only be considered under justified needs.
All applications must justify the choice of the course selected, the specific need for training, funding and the expected impact on the applicant’s individual career and local community.

LABI will contribute to partially cover the necessary costs for attending a specialized course in any Bioimaging topic, specifically including those focused on improving the management and performance of imaging facilities

To promote the professional development of Imaging Facilities staff through a personalized work experience in another imaging facility. Encourage networking and promote potential collaborations between Latin American Imaging Facilities.
LABI will contribute to partially cover the required expenses to visit an imaging facility for 1-2 weeks. This experience will allow program participants to learn new aspects related to the facility management and use, such as: user access, quality management, software tools, image data storage and analysis, facility organization, new technologies, among others.
As a way of promoting cooperation and fostering regional community building, priority will be given to international exchanges to be held within Latin America. Local-national exchanges may also be considered. Exchanges to be held outside the region can only be considered under justified needs.
All applications must justify the choice of the imaging facility selected, the specific need for training, funding, the expected impact on individual training, on the applicant’s imaging facility and on the applicant’s local community.
